Insurance Renewal

The process of replacing an expiring policy with a new term, after which an updated COI must be collected.

Renewal is when a sub's policy reaches the end of its term and is rewritten for another period, usually annually. Each renewal can change carriers, limits, or endorsements, so the prior certificate no longer reflects current coverage.

For GCs, every sub renewal triggers a fresh COI request. Capturing the new certificate, and re-checking that limits and endorsements still meet your requirements, keeps the compliance record accurate year over year.

Track this on every subcontractor

CoiLoop collects COIs and W-9s through no-login links, uses AI to read each certificate and check limits, endorsements, and dates against your requirements, and warns you before anything expires.
