Insurance Documents

Declarations Page

Also known as: Dec Page

The summary page of an insurance policy listing the named insured, coverages, limits, deductibles, and policy period.

The declarations page is the cover sheet of the actual policy. It states who is insured, which coverages apply, the limits and deductibles, and the policy term. Where a COI is prepared by an agent, the dec page comes straight from the carrier's policy.

When a certificate looks off or a claim is in play, GCs sometimes request the dec page to confirm the coverage details the certificate claims actually match the bound policy.

Track this on every subcontractor

CoiLoop collects COIs and W-9s through no-login links, uses AI to read each certificate and check limits, endorsements, and dates against your requirements, and warns you before anything expires.
